Note: The app can still be used from home, any non-school wi-fi or 4G connection while you wait for the request to be acted upon.


Does your App display the 'No Internet!' message?

The app tests whether the device can connect to the internet when it first starts up.

If 'No internet' is displayed then the app is unable to make a connection via your school wifi.

Ask your ICT Support to log a request with your broadband provider for the following update to the firewall:


"Can DNS servers 1.1.1.1, 8.8.4.4 and 208.67.222.222 be unblocked on the firewall via port 53 so that we can use the Blippit Boards app?"

Are you using the service provider 'Schools Broadband/Talk Straight'?

If your Broadband is provided by Schools Broadband/Talk Straight using the Netsweeper platform please ask your ICT Support to log a call with them and request:

 

"Can DNS servers 1.1.1.1, 8.8.4.4 and 208.67.222.222 be unblocked on the firewall via port 53 so that we can use the Blippit Boards app?"



Do you get a
